About First Move Opportunities

I’m not trying to predict the market. I’m documenting what happens before the move.

First Move Opportunities is my public market journal.

I regularly scan stocks for situations where price, volatility, momentum and options data suggest that something interesting may be developing.

When I find one, I document the setup before I know the outcome.

Then I come back later and review what actually happened.

What I look at

My analysis may include:

  • Price structure and momentum

  • 14-day ATR and expected movement

  • Moving averages and compression

  • RSI and MACD

  • Options spreads

  • Delta, gamma and other Greeks

  • Implied volatility

  • Risk/reward and probability

  • What happened after the original analysis

Why subscribe?

Because the interesting part isn’t someone showing you a chart after a stock moved 30%.

It’s seeing the original thesis before the outcome was known.

Subscribers receive new First Move Opportunities research directly by email, including new setups, follow-up analysis and reviews of previous ideas.

Who am I?

I’m Sagar Podilapu.

I approach markets analytically and experimentally. I’m interested in understanding why setups work, why they fail, and whether the same signals remain useful when tested repeatedly.

First Move Opportunities is where I document that process publicly

.

One important distinction

This is not a trade-alert service.

I’m not telling you what to buy or sell. I’m documenting research, hypotheses, trades and observations so that we can examine what happens next.

The record stays visible — including the ideas that don’t work.

First Move Opportunities is provided for educational and research purposes only and does not constitute investment, financial or trading advice. Trading and investing involve risk, including possible loss of principal.
